Remo Vinzens is an internationally active actor, acting coach and co-founder of the Swiss Acting Institute (SAI). His work operates at the intersection of European classical theatre and modern, camera-oriented acting practice with a clear international outlook.

He completed his professional acting training in Cologne and Zurich, where he immersed himself in a wide range of acting techniques and methodologies, later integrating them into a pragmatic, performance-driven approach for stage and screen. Early in his career, he gained experience in theatre productions, commercials, short films and independent film projects.

A formative milestone in his artistic development was his “On Camera” training at the International Film School (IFS) in Cologne, where he worked, among others, with Academy Award–nominated actor Klaus Maria Brandauer. This intensive training laid the foundation for his focus on emotional precision, authenticity and strong screen presence.

Remo Vinzens’ dedication to classical stage work became particularly evident through his co-production and leading role in Arthur Miller’s timeless masterpiece Death of a Salesman. His performance, including a powerful monologue as Happy Loman, was met with strong critical response and received international recognition within the Hollywood film industry.

In 2008, Remo Vinzens was involved in discussions and project developments surrounding the role of the Camerlengo in Ron Howard’s international feature film Angels & Demons, (Illuminati) reflecting his growing visibility in the international film environment.
In 2009, he again attracted international attention in connection with Clint Eastwood’s film Invictus.

Further industry developments followed in 2012, with professional contacts and exchanges in the context of Steven Spielberg’s historical drama Lincoln, underlining his continued presence and positioning within the U.S. film industry.
In 2012, Remo Vinzens co-founded the Swiss Acting Institute together with fellow professional actors, in collaboration with Star Class Talent Management (Los Angeles / Zurich). The institute was established as an international training platform dedicated to preparing actors for theatre, film, television and international casting environments.

As Artistic Director of the SAI, Remo Vinzens is responsible for the institute’s creative vision and curriculum development. He teaches personally with a focus on camera acting, audition training, scene work, English-language acting and professional preparation for international markets, particularly Europe, the UK and the United States.
In addition to actor training, he works as a coach in presence, communication and performance skills, collaborating with artists, executives and professionals from various industries.

With the annual Open Acting Studio Days, Remo Vinzens also initiated an international event format that brings together actors, industry professionals and emerging talent, offering insights into contemporary acting practice for stage and screen — on site and via live stream for a global audience in Open Acting Studio Days Part: II from 2026 on

Remo Vinzens ist ein international tätiger Schauspieler, Acting Coach und Mitgründer des Swiss Acting Institute (SAI).
Seine Arbeit bewegt sich an der Schnittstelle zwischen europäischer klassischer Theatertradition und moderner, kameraorientierter Schauspielpraxis mit klarer internationaler Ausrichtung.

Seine professionelle Schauspielausbildung absolvierte er in Köln und Zürich. Dort setzte er sich intensiv mit einer Vielzahl von Schauspieltechniken und -methoden auseinander, die er später zu einem pragmatischen, leistungsorientierten Ansatz für Bühne und Kamera weiterentwickelte. Zu Beginn seiner Karriere sammelte er umfangreiche Erfahrungen in Theaterproduktionen, Werbespots, Kurzfilmen sowie unabhängigen Filmprojekten.

Als Künstlerischer Leiter des SAI verantwortet Remo Vinzens die kreative Vision sowie die Entwicklung der Lehrpläne. Er unterrichtet persönlich mit Schwerpunkten auf Kamera-Schauspiel, Audition-Training, Szenenarbeit, englischsprachigem Schauspiel und der professionellen Vorbereitung auf internationale Märkte – insbesondere Europa, Großbritannien und die USA.
Neben der Schauspielausbildung arbeitet er zudem als Coach für Präsenz, Kommunikation und Performance-Skills und kooperiert dabei mit Künstlern, Führungskräften und Fachleuten aus unterschiedlichen Branchen.

Mit den jährlich stattfindenden Open Acting Studio Days initiierte Remo Vinzens darüber hinaus ein internationales Eventformat, das Schauspieler, Branchenexperten und Nachwuchstalente zusammenbringt. Die Veranstaltung bietet Einblicke in zeitgenössische Schauspielpraxis für Bühne und Kamera – vor Ort sowie per Livestream ab 2026 im Open Acting Studio Days Part II für ein weltweites Publikum.
